Green Dot believes every student deserves the chance to attend a high-quality school.
In August of 2015, Green Dot Public Schools Washington opened their first middle school in Tacoma, Washington, Destiny Middle School with 200 6th grade students. We now have two additional schools in our network, with another high school scheduled to open in August 2018. Alongside Excel Public Charter School, located in Kent, Washington and Rainier Valley Leadership Academy, located in SE Seattle, Washington, our three schools serve approximately 850 students in the Puget Sound area.
Through intentional community and stakeholder planning, our diverse students and families are at the core of what we do. With an emphasis on personalized learning and a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, our dedicated educators are focused on preparing all students for college, leadership, and life.
