The Destiny Difference
We recognize that students come in with different areas of strength and areas of growth. Through a personalized learning plan, students are met where they're at academically and uniquely supported through the school year to meet their individual goals.
The skills and expertise of our teachers and staff are critical in advancing our students' successes. We believe in building our people's skills throughout the year. During an educator's time with Green Dot, they will receive approximately 250 hours of professional development annually.
Building relationships with community and families is a critical part of our success. We know that we can't do this work alone and that our students are more successful when there are supports beyond the school.
At any and every point in a child's time at Destiny Middle School, they will be receiving a high-quality, rigorous education that will prepare them for college. Our belief is that all students will be and can attend and graduate from college.
Destiny Middle School's student body is incredibly diverse with many races, ethnicities, and languages represented and spoken. In order to provide the most supportive learning environment for all students, we see the importance of culturally-responsive teaching and implement into our curriculum and teaching.
