Arneidra Austin-Lloyd


Arneidra Lloyd began her journey to education at Grambling State University where she learned to be an expert educator.  She continued her journey as teacher in Desoto Independent School District a diverse suburb of Dallas, Texas where she taught 4th grade and held various leadership positions.  She was then appointed to work with the state of Texas to assist in the creation of the English Language Arts STAAR test. Arneidra was also afforded the opportunity to implement a pilot bilingual reading program for Kindergarten through first grade students. After successfully completing 9 years of a successful teaching, she took the opportunity to become an administrator in Renton School District where she continued to live out her passion to help teachers, students, and families.

Arneidra believes in a school culture where families and the community are an integral part of school based decisions and the students' education. Being a South Seattle native, she feels honored to have the opportunity to come back home to service her community and make a positive impact by establishing a school where students will receive high-quality, equitable education. She intends to work effortlessly to design everyday so students can and will succeed in classrooms with rigorous instruction and caring educators who are held to high standards and expect for all students to perform at high levels.

She is eager to establish a strong long lasting relationship with the Rainier Valley community and continue to successfully carry out our mission of preparing students for college, leadership, and life.


Aimee Kelley

Parent and Community Engagement Coordinator

Aimee has worked in education in the charter sector for eight years in Washington, DC and is thrilled to bring that expertise to the Green Dot team. She spent most of that time working directly with parents and has taught ESL, Civics, and Digital Literacy. She also presented at organizations, schools and conferences on using technology in the classroom, family literacy and engagement, and differentiated instruction. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Washington Area TESOL Organization. In her free time, she likes to build websites, write code, and work with youth. She also loves music and studied it at Bethel College. She plays seven instruments and has played in a wide variety of bands and orchestras.


Trang Le

Special Projects Associate

Trang serves as the Special Projects Associate for Green Dot in Washington. She works on strategy, operations, and communications projects. Trang has experience in both the private and public sector.

Prior to Green Dot, she taught Chemistry in Chicago Public Schools and was a grade level lead, where she executed academic remediation plans and oversaw a team of 11th grade teachers. Soon after teaching, Trang transitioned into a consulting role where she helped answer companies’ biggest questions while gaining a strategic mindset. She is passionate about bringing her project management experience and passion for education equity to serve Green Dot schools and students.

Trang received her Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, finding the next best restaurant, and staying active.
